About
ballershorts.com is a blog of the people, by the people, for the people, as long as those people love the game of basketball. Our ambitions are modest: to improve the lives of hoops addicts around the world and promote child literacy. Here are the tireless workers who make these dreams possible:
Benjamin Teitelbaum
After years of honing his skills in the underground foundry known as Columbia University, Ben Teitelbaum has surfaced as a first-class wordsmith. His eloquence is as smooth as Derek Fisher’s jump shot. His wit is as sharp as Derrick Rose’s apple knife. His vocabulary is as large as Derrick Coleman’s untapped potential. But don’t just take my word for it. Take Ben’s words for it.
Basketball was Ben’s first love, and he recently realized his childhood dream of playing low-level college hoops in London. However, Ben firmly believes that there is more to life than international anonymity: namely, a blog. He has picked up the pen in lieu of the ball, but the brilliance remains.
Ben’s voice is Ben’s life. Ballershorts is Ben’s voice.
Andrew Stein
No, Andrew Stein was not raised by wolves. But he’s definitely a beast. An extra foot bone gives him squirrel-like agility. Piercing eyes give him hawk-like perception. And opposable thumbs give him human-like penmanship. While those qualities have not given Andrew the ability to guard LeBron, they have made him deadly in front of a computer.
Due to an administrative position in Stanford’s prestigious student basketball fan group, the Sixth Man Club, Andrew fully understands how to manage the hefty demands and lofty expectations foisted upon supreme talent. It looks like those skills will come in handy right here.
Andrew’s voice is Andrew’s life. Ballershorts is Andrew’s voice.
